So that when awkward 1.0 arrives, most uproot users will have this restriction applied and won't accidentally get it.
This will be uproot 3.9.0 (because new cross-repo version constraints require new minor version bumps).
The first uproot that will use awkward 1.0 will be uproot 4.0.0.
