These were deprecated in 2022 (1dc616a) in response for removal for the kernel. We can safely remove the deprecated APIs now.

These were deprecated in 2022 (1dc616a) in response for removal for the kernel. We can safely remove the deprecated APIs now. Closes scylladb#2600
