Windows 1809: doesn't change the icon for each desktop #133
Comments
I am seeing the same. Additionally, my desktop name tooltips are only showing on the first time I launch the exe. After that, changing desktops no longer pops up the desktop name tooltips. |
In addition to losing tooltips, I've also lost the different background images by desktop. All of this together means it's really hard to tell what desktop I'm on. |
Confirmed. It is working again for me.
Thanks!

I fixed the issue by replacing the virtual-desktop-accessor.dll in the /libraries directory of the latest release by the newest version of the .dll released by Ciantic<https://github.com/Ciantic/VirtualDesktopAccessor> and renaming it properly.
You can download the .dll file from Ciantic's GitHub profile Here<https://github.com/Ciantic/VirtualDesktopAccessor/blob/master/x64/Release/VirtualDesktopAccessor.dll>
It works perfectly! Thank you so much.

Beautiful! You can't believe how much of a relief it is to know what desktop I'm on from a glance. |
Sorry for not replying earlier. I haven't updated my Windows yet, that's why I haven't released a new version of this to fix it since I can't test it personally. When I do update, I'll release a new version. |
After updating to Windows 10 1809 (October update), the taskbar icon doesn't match with the desktop number. Always shows the icon with number 1 no matter what desktop you go.
