This release represents the SDMX 2.1.0 REST API, as published in January 2024.

The main feature of this release is that it adds support for Registration queries. The other changes are minor fixes or improvements, mainly to the documentation.

SDMX RESTful Web Services Guidelines, 2020-09

This release represents the REST-related content of the SDMX 2.1 Web Services Guidelines, as published in September 2020.

The main features of this release are:

1. Support for VTL artefacts has been added;
2. The API is now defined using Open API (aka Swagger);
3. Additional media types have been added to schema queries.

SDMX RESTful Web Services Guidelines, 2019-06

This release represents the REST-related content of the SDMX 2.1 Web Services Guidelines, as published in June 2019. The release is a minor one, merely adding a dedicated media type for SDMX-JSON structure messages.

SDMX RESTful Web Services Guidelines, 2018-10

This release represents the REST-related content of the SDMX 2.1 Web Services Guidelines, as published in October 2018. The release adds supports for retrieving:

• a valid set of codes after constraints resolution;
• partial references and other details;
• additional media types;
• alternate values for most of the path parameters;
• content constraints by type.

In addition, several improvements to the documentation were made.

This release represents the REST-related content of the SDMX 2.1 Web Services Guidelines, as published in May 2017. The release adds supports for retrieving specific hierarchies in a hierarchical codelist. In addition, several improvements to the documentation were made.

SDMX RESTful Web Services Guidelines, 2015-09

This release represents the REST-related content of the SDMX 2.1 Web Services Guidelines, as they were published in September 2015. The release adds supports for retrieving how data evolved over time and also offers the option to query for items within item schemes. In addition, one bug was fixed and there were two improvements to existing features.

SDMX RESTful Web Services Guidelines, 2013-04

This release represents the REST-related content of the SDMX 2.1 Web Services Guidelines, as they were published in April 2013. The release fixes two bugs affecting regular expressions and also addresses a few documentation issues. In addition, the test WADL client has been removed as it does not work with newer releases of the java WADL tools.
