I know this is huge, so if we want to break it up let's talk about it. But this is everything I've done so far.

And side note, since we haven't used the new package namespace yet I don't think we need to delete or reset any history unless there is something specific we are worried about.

I can annotate this on Monday if that helps before I mark it ready for review
