Modifications to share cached inventory and reduce overall required api
calls from 4 to 1. Only remaining api call comes from heartbeat which
updates the cached inventory for sanity reasons.

Modifications to share cached inventory and reduce overall required api
calls from 4 to 1. Only remaining api call comes from heartbeat which
updates the cached inventory for sanity reasons.
