Glossary
There are a lot of strange terms used, so here is a place to define what everything is, specifically, and what its purpose is.
The Player Panel is where the player management happens. Here, you can add, edit, and remove players as well as add them to the player bucket. You can also change or share your current player set here, too.
Some data below is noted with in this player set -- this means that if you enter the same name across multiple player sets, this data will not carry over.
The name of the person being added (required).
The geographical location of the person being added.
The aliases used by the person in this player set.
The games played by this person in this player set.
The characters played by this person in this player set.
A player set is a grouping of players. Generally, you'll organize them by series of game played (Smash Bros, Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, etc), but you can organize them however you want. If you don't separate them at all, you might end up with a messy data set (ie, multiple games/characters across multiple series), but that's up to you.
You can also share your player set with anyone! This will require them to give you their id (obtainable via the settings page) and you simply paste it in the share dialog. This will give the other person edit access to all of your players, events, and tournaments in this player set. Be careful!
The player bucket is where players go when they are selected, and before you add them to a tournament. It is cleared when you start a new tournament.
The name of the event (required).
The place where the event is taking place (required).
The date/time the event is taking place (required).
An optional, brief description of the event.
The name of the tournament (required).
The optional event that this tournament is a part of.
The game being played for this tournament. Used for scoring, so keep consistency in mind (required).
