I'm OK with changing this; it was meant to prevent issues if PEBKAC. But in the end there is only so much you can do. @deric let me know if you want to adjust this PR to include 4.x. |

At least recursor is stable in 4.7 version. Generally from maintainer's perspective I'd say it's easier to allow any version number matching certain format. Otherwise you should maintain whole compatibility matrix for all distributions and release versions which is painful 😞
