Installing Latest Development

To obtain pre-release executables containing the latest development of bulk_extractor:

• For Windows users: try downloading bulk_extractor from http://digitalcorpora.org/downloads/bulk_extractor/newer_dev/. Check the date to see how current the unversioned development copy is.
• For Linux, Mac, or Windows users: you may build and install bulk_extractor from source from the master branch at https://github.com/simsong/bulk_extractor, see Installing bulk_extractor.

Beware that the latest development code is unversioned, is subject to change, and may not be fully tested. However it should support the changes and fixes identified in the upcoming Release Notes DRAFT at https://github.com/simsong/bulk_extractor/tree/master/doc/announce.

Users are encouraged to try out new features under development and to provide feedback.
