Stop using CDNs

Could you please stop using external CDNs (exactly CloudFlare CDN to deliver mathjax) on SIO2?

(I don't think mathjax is a critical feature anyway, so you wouldn't lose much by blocking it in your browser)

This is a major issue because such CDNs are unavailable on offline deployments and I couldn't find a ZIP file with all that bullshit and had to trace every single damned file to download manually and host.

If it's not critical, then remove it. Come on, it's 2025. Can't we just use MathML like normal people?

I think there's a misunderstanding to what I said 5 years ago.

To expand on what I meant: it's not critical as in, if you have a personal vendetta against CF (many such cases), then you block the external JS and, unless something has changed that I'm not aware of, you just don't have LaTeX rendering. But that's your choice. Same if you have an offline deployment: if your offline deployment doesn't allow users to access the CDNs, MathJaX won't work, and that's it. If you don't use LaTeX in tasks, you don't have a problem. Since you're saying you had to deal with "all that bullshit", apparently it is critical to you.

I'm out of loop on current SIO instances, but I would guess you'd need to convert current uses of LaTeX syntax on sio-mimuw and Szkopuł to MathML. And that's assuming Igalia finished their work implementing MathML in Blink, which definitely wasn't the case 5 years ago.

If you're a member of this org I presume you have more power to do something about this issue than to rant here as though this is a super well funded corporate project.

There is Webpack and NPM integrated into oioioi now. So if using an CDN is an issue, bundling Mathjax like everything else should be possible now.
