Heatmaps
We know the display from football matches or even the OLC-League-report, where all flights are displayed with thier tracks. The flight data could be displayed in such a way. By introducing some smart filter options, one could get nice information out of that tool. I assume different ways of displaying are possible. As the heatmap will higlight the areas with high activity. Maybe also different options are possible to recieve only anormal mapping of all flight pathes.
Example:

Which flights did our DouDiscus D-xyz1 perform in the year 2011 between June and July from airfield xy. --> You recieve a map with all flights of that glider during that time period (e.g. a competition)

What flights did our club members perform in 2012 season? --> You recieve a map with all flight of the club members in 2012
- Time(span)
- Takeoff location
- Club
- Country
- Pilot
- Aircraft (by specific aircraft, or class)

- One interesting example for what I mean is http://xcplanner.appspot.com/ on the right hand side under thermals click on the + and you can see the skyways. Thats exactly what I mean !
