handle DB failures, Mutiny and CircuitBreaker (SmallRye Fault Tolerance)

Hi, I understood that with the following code:
client.query("SELECT ....").execute() .onFailure(PgException::class.java).retry().withBackOff(Duration.ofMillis(200)).withJitter(0.2).atMost(2)
I can instruct Mutiny to retry failed queries.

However, for the case of constantly failing DB requests I want to use circuitbreaking by adding a @CircuitBreaker annotation (SmallRye Fault Tolerance). If I simply do that nothing happens, since exceptions are events.
What can I do? Or have I missed something?

Quarkus Fault tolerance handles Uni, so just make sure you return a Uni emitting the failure from the method annotated with @CircuitBreaker.
