First, thank you for updating this repository and providing a script to install ROS on macOS Big Sur.
Second, I found few points where we should update the current script. They are small fixes, but I believe it is important to keep this script up to date.
The fix on this pull request is a small update in relation to
brewandcask. It seems that the new way to use cask is bybrew install --cask. On a fresh new Big Sur 11.2.1 installation, it needed this modification to continue.Also, on a fresh new Big Sur 11.2.1 installation, after installing xquartz, I also needed to open the xquartz and update it using its GUI before proceeding with the ROS installation script.
I hope it will be helpful to some else in the future.
