Here is a "pitch" deck for running a customer-facing Cortex & SiS Immersion Day workshop.
Benefits for your customer include:
- Learn about and test Snowflake’s native Generative AI and Machine Learning capabilities
- Understand that Snowflake’s Text analytics & generation capabilities to support faster development and lower TCO with performant LLMs and search without moving data or managing integrations
- Understand difference between Generative AI and Machine Learning Use Cases capabilities and roadmap
- Experience Cortex and Streamlit in Snowflake first-hand with ready-to-use code via Hands-on-Lab
Here is the templatized workshop deck
Things to keep in mind:
- Cortex ML (Predictive ML) and Cortex LLMs (Generative AI) are foundationally different concepts.
- ML has been around for more than a decade and there is considerable expertise / history with many of our customers. Cortex ML is Snowflake's effort to democratize "basic analytics and ML". They are great for creating creating "baseline" ML models. You don't want to get into a head to head debate about ML architecture since the ML field is vast.
- AI is new. There are barely any standards and tools. The opportunity is huge. AI (LLMs) is what most customers want to hear about.
- Suggested HOL Approach - Break content into two sessions, or have a break between the sections.
- Suggest running two separate workshops. Part 1 (Predictive ML) as one workshop. Part 2 (Generative AI) as one workshop.
HOL Agenda: (1 session for 4 hrs or 2 sessions at 2 hrs/session)
- Snowflake for AI Intro
