I see Rust as a powerful and flexible tool that strikes the ideal balance between performance, ergonomics, and correctness. Rust isn't necessarily easy to use, but like any good tool, Rust makes doing hard things easier. That's why I'm all-in on Rust and want to work towards bringing more applications into a full Rust stack.
Two of my favorite Rust UI frameworks are Iced and Dioxus. I also like Dryoc, Sled, Warp, and ipfs_embed. Additionally, BDK, LDK, and RGB are all fantastic projects in the Rust Bitcoin space.
I run both of these Telegram groups: Rust in Bitcoin and Rust Furries, feel free to join! I also contribute to the Rust in Bitcoin section of rib.rs.
I also do a bit of writing, which can be found on my newsletter about Rust and Bitcoin, Orange Metal, Orange Coin.
I support many other Rust developers with GitHub Sponsors. Feel free to support me if you like my work, or take a look at who I sponsor, and support them directly.
If you support me, let me know what you'd like me to spend time on. You can reach me on Telegram, @cryptoquick
(but say something other than "Hello"; feel free to introduce yourself in the first message), or via email, which should be listed on my page.
Do not contact me about job opportunities. I'm not interested in any other language than Rust, nor am I interested in any other blockchain than Bitcoin. Lots of value can come from focus on just one or two things.
