Hello! 👋
I ❤️ open-source! Over the past 5-6 years, I have been contributing to elementary OS and have always taken great pleasure in tracking down and fixing bugs and implementing big-ticket new features.
Some examples of the work I've done on elementary OS recently include:
- Building a sample project for how to build elementary applications in Rust.
- Web infrastructure work to keep elementary's Weblate, Flatpak Remote and Website running smoothly.
- The initial GTK4 port of Granite, unlocking the ability to start porting a number of elementary applications to GTK4.
- Starting the elementary OS 7.0 daily builds shortly after the announcement of the upstream Ubuntu version.
My work sometimes leads me upstream and my day job occasionally gives the opportunity to work on open-source software too. As a result, I have contributed to a number of other open-source projects, including; Ansible, AppStream, Flatpak, GNOME, Rundeck, and Vala.
I'm currently working on triaging and following up on blockers for the 7.0 release and I'm hoping to start some more in-depth investigation into what's required to bring Pantheon to Wayland soon too.
My own projects:
- Torrential, a torrent client for elementary OS
Why sponsor me?
Sponsoring me is a great way to say thank you for the work I do for the open source community. My higher reward tiers give you the chance to follow updates on what I'm working on and guide me down a path of specific issues you'd like me to look into.
I'd like to continue making elementary OS even better, and any contribution you can make will help me work towards spending more time working on open-source software.

Select🐞 Have your bug reports prioritized
If you ping me on a bug report for one of my projects or an @elementary project, I will prioritize doing some initial investigation and triage for that bug.
If it's a trivial bug that can be reproduced and fixed easily, it's likely that I'll fix it too. If it's more complex, I'll at least try and post some workarounds or the results of my investigation in the bug report.
