Become a sponsor to Floyd

This page is updated quarterly - last updated June, 2023

Hello 👋 !

If you have two minutes, I'd like to tell you a bit about myself.

Who Am I?

I go by "Floyd" and I design and implement systems which are:

  • Enjoyable to use 😊
  • Effective 🚀
  • Efficient
  • Evolvable (well tested, well documented, and well maintained)

I primarily work with Python, Javascript and Go.

What Am I Doing?

🔎   In the OSS world, I focus on two libraries to find and handle Indicators of Compromise in plain text:
- ioc-finder
- ioc-fanger

I also maintain html-to-json when I have time.

Why Do I Want Sponsorship?

Maintaining OSS libraries requires a non-trivial investment of time and energy. While I enjoy designing these libraries, I also have a lot of other demands on my time. Your contribution to my work - no matter how small - allows me to spend more time working on these libraries.

Thanks for your consideration!

I'm looking for three sponsors (at any tier), willing to help support the time I spend on developing and maintaining my code.

Featured work

  1. fhightower/ioc-finder

Simple, effective, and modular package for parsing observables (indicators of compromise (IOCs), network data, and other, security related information) from text. It uses grammars rather than regex…

    Python 158
  2. ioc-fang/ioc-fanger

Fang and defang indicators of compromise. You can test this project in a GUI here: http://ioc-fanger.hightower.space .

    Python 56
  3. fhightower/html-to-json

Convert HTML to JSON. Can also (intelligently) convert HTML tables to JSON (using table headers (if available) as keys in the resulting JSON).
