I am a PhD student in Computer Science at ETH Zürich with a focus in Databases and High-Performance Computing!

Previously, I have been working at the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre on distributed, communication-avoiding linear algebra algorithms like:

  • COSMA: communication-optimal, GPU-accelerated matrix-multiplication algorithm.
  • COSTA: communication-optimal transpose.
  • Tiled-MM: cublasXt alternative that is also ported to AMD GPUs.

I want to apply my background in HPC to Machine Learning and make highly-optimized Machine Learning Libraries!
