Dependency Injection did not go far enough. By introducing Thread Injection and Continuation Injection we round out Inversion of Coupling Control. Continuation Injection reduces coupling and improves composition for easier building and changing applications. Then Thread Injection reduces thread coupling to make performance tuning your applications easier.

Furthermore, this potentially leads to the Cloud Virtual Machine to provide the right abstractions to write applications once that can run in any cloud.
