Jeremy Grelle opened SPR-6114 and commented

As Spring 3.0 requires a minimum of JSP 2.0, we should take the opportunity to upgrade the JSP tag libraries so that we can take advantage of JSP 2.0 features such as dynamic attributes. This will require converting the current .tld files to the JSP 2.0 XML schema.
