Andrew Goudzwaard opened SPR-6433 and commented

In order to replace ParameterizedBeanPropertyRowMapper, the static newInstance() shortcut methods in that class should be copied to BeanPropertyRowMapper.

Good point - that method makes sense in BeanPropertyRowMapper itself.
