The combination of #7380, #9424, and #11130 will likely meet the "graceful handling" requirement to the extent of what is demonstrated in the forum thread sample.

Modify title from "'redirect after post' problem with Spring MVC" to "Provide better options to specify attributes on a redirect" to better reflect the actual changes included in the release.
