Is MSSQL Database connection "integratedSecurity" option supported?

Hi all,

Have recently discovered sqlPage and like the prospects of what I can do with it for my customers and their POS databases. So far experiments have gone ok, but looking at connecting to a local named instance via Windows Authentication, but not having any luck as yet...

Attempting to connect to a local MSSQL (2008R2) instance via integratedSecurity (Windows Authorization), however, receiving the below error:

[2025-01-12T00:58:50.118Z ERROR sqlpage] "mssql://localhost/{DBNAME}?instance={NAMEDINSTANCE}&integratedSecurity=true" is not a valid database URL. Please change the "database_url" option in the configuration file.

    Caused by:
        0: error with configuration: `integratedSecurity` is not a valid mssql connection option
        1: `integratedSecurity` is not a valid mssql connection option

Whether I have simply misconfigured the url or, as the "Caused by" states, integratedSecurity is simply not an option as yet? it is a named instance I am connecting to, and am able to connect to the db via user/password from a remote source, but have not been able to connect via Windows Auth... I would prefer to use Windows Auth as I would need to setup user/password into the existing SQL Server instance first otherwise, which just adds to complexity when involving client systems...

Hello and welcome to SQLPage !

Indeed, as you found out, integrated Windows security is not supported yet for mssql servers in SQL page. You will have to setup a username and password for SQLPage.

However, named instances are supported. See #92

Thanks @lovasoa for confirming that.
Any plans to implement? Should I put in issues as an enhancement request?
Followed the named instance guide when testing so understood all that and had no issues there.
Will put a post in the #772 post!

Yes, you can open a new feature issue ! It's a pretty big thing to implement, but let's give it more visibility in case someone wants to start working on it.
