Supporting the second fire button #74
Comments
Map first two PC joystick or gamepad fire buttons to two BBC joystick buttons separately. Fixes stardot#74
@richard-broadhurst What about secondary joystick? I just found in AUG that there are actually two joysticks supported be the BBC. Do you know any games that use two joysticks? Do you think it is worth to add support for secondary BBC joystick? |
A few of @richard-broadhurst's own games use the fire button on the second joystick, these are mentioned in #73 (comment). Bandits at 3 O'Clock is a two-player game that uses two joysticks. |
Hmm... Bandits at 3 O'Clock is a keyboard game. I'm looking specifically for games that use two analogue joysticks. |
Ah, OK, I linked to the wrong version ... Dogfight seems to be the joystick version. (Edit) Oddly, the website says this was unreleased, but I had this joystick version on original tape BITD. |

Please add support for the second fire button when using a single joystick.
You could support both buttons on both joysticks, buy for example reversing the order of the buttons on the second stick.
