FatalThrowableError in Updater.php line 232 after turning off static caching in the control panel (Statamic v2)

Hi,

I turned off static caching in the control panel, saved it, and then tried to turn it back on again, but now all I'm seeing when I try to load the control panel or the front-end is this error:

FatalThrowableError in Updater.php line 232
Call to a member function in() on null

There aren't any files in the cache folder to remove. This has broken the entire site, so any help I could get to resolve the issue would be appreciated.

I found the file throwing the error and removed it temporarily which has resolved the issue.
