Can't deactivate canonical url #58

Describe the bug
Unchecking the canonical option doesn't stop the canonical link being added to the page

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to settings
  2. Uncheck the canonical checkbox
  3. Refresh page and clear any caching
  4. Canonical link remains

Expected behavior
Canonical link shouldn't be there if the checkbox isnt checked

Envinroment:

  • PHP version: 7.2
  • WordPress version 4.9.8
  • Plugin version 0.11.2

Additional context
I'm using Yoast so am currently getting 2 canonicals, which is a problem
