is not maintained anymore.More, it has a dependency on https://www.npmjs.com/package/source-map-resolve which is deprecated (and contain CVE if I remember correctly)
The new package
@adobe/css-tools
is a fork ofcss
without the source-map support and with some optimization and typescript support. It also fixes few smalls issues and I belive that one of them is: #356
