Feature request: jq and uv on fresh sprites

Having jq in the default sprite install would be very useful, especially since Claude Code uses it to help explore large JSON documents.

Having uv would be fantastic (even though it's just a pip install uv away) - it's become essential for most Python developers over the past ~18 months.

Seconding this, especially making uv a default install.

Bug report for using uv projects:
I installed uv using curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh and it kept hanging on sprite adding packages e.g uv add fastapi.

It hangs forever on the uv add cmd.

Claude said something to do with pyenv vs the uv env, however i didn't get to the bottom of this.
