Version

2.2.53

Operating system type + version

Windows 10 v2004

3D printer brand / version + firmware version (if known)

Kit printer: Railcore, running RepRapFirmware v3.1.1

Behavior

  • Fan startup delay does not function as intended
  • Set fan startup to any negative or positive value, tested -5,-1,1,5
  • Expected: Part cooling fan begins spooling up X amount of time before it is needed to allow time for full speed when the appropriate feature is printed
  • Actual: Part cooling fan and associated M106 commands do not have any startup advance, and will turn at the exact moment a given feature is printed. Results in poor cooling when working with higher speeds where an overhang will be printed before the fan has reached the appropriate speed
