Before anyone shows up alarmed that we have a vulnerable dependency: this affects the SSH primitives that x/crypto provides. It's a response to CVE-2023-48795 and the Terrapin attacks. GoToSocial does not have an in-process SSH server, and never acts as an SSH client either. The vulnerable code path is likely not even in the binary since it should be getting eliminated by the compiler. But even if it is, we never call it. |
