With Symfony version 3.x it doesn't make sense to refer to Symfony2 in the documentation.

Thanks! I've merged it into the 2.7 branch (3.0 is no longer maintained, but 2.7 and 2.8 still are).

This PR was submitted for the 3.0 branch but it was merged into the 2.7 branch instead (closes #7029).
