This repository contains the demos of Syncfusion DOCX Editor SDK for WPF. This is the best place to check our WPF DOCX Editor control to get more insight about the usage of APIs. The WPF DOCX Editor SDK in which you can edit, format and generate professional Word documents in native WPF application.
This section guides you to use the Syncfusion DOCX Editor SDK WPF demos in your applications.
- Make sure your development PC is running with Windows 11 and Windows 10 OS version 1809 (build 17763) or a later version.
- Requires Visual Studio 2022 or later with Windows App SDK Extension
- Need a Net462 ,.Net 8.0-windows and .Net 9.0-windows requirements for running the demos.
- Open
syncfusion.samplebrowser.wpf_docxeditorsdk.slnfrom the samplebrowser folder. - Select the .NET target version as .NET Framework 4.6.2 or .NET 8.0-windows, or .NET 9.0-windows for the project.
Notes: While downloading the zip file, follow below steps
- Before you unzip the archive, right-click it, select Properties, and then select Unblock.
- Be sure to unzip the entire archive, and not just individual folders. The demo all depend on all the folders in the archive.
- If you unzip individual folders, they will not build due to references to other portions of the ZIP file that were not unzipped. You must unzip the entire archive if you intend to build the samples.
- Viewing and editing rich text, images, tables, and comments.
- Printing rendered contents as page by page.
- Supports all image types except Metafile images.
- Supports undo and redo all editing operation such as inserting text, table, images, hyperlink, comments and all formatting operations such as bold, italic etc.
- Supports first page header and footer as well as odd and even page headers and footers.
- Moving or copying portion of the document to clipboard and also pasting rich text contents from clipboard into the document.
- Supports loading encrypted word documents with valid password.
