That is how gimp does paint hinting, I will work on replicating that here! When you say it rotates around the cursor, do you mean that the region is skewed, or it does not appear directly under the cursor? |
Hmm skewed is not the right word... maybe angled? It appears more like an oval than a perfect circle? |

Depending on the rotation the painting region rotates around the cursor - which is fine, but it would be helpful to have an idea of where the painting region is and how big it is relative to the scan.
