The issue can be reproduced by running UAC and quickly terminating the process. When you do it, ctrl-c signal is trapped and the script proposes you to delete the temporary folder. If you are quick enough, this happens before the variables $DESTINATION_DIR and $TMP_DATA_DIR are populated and the script proposes you to delete the root folder ("/").
