I guess the pip install . should now be the standard way to install, instead of pip install -e .

As discussed, I restructured the repository into one main package (
membrain_seg) and several sub-packages (segmentation,tomo_preprocessing,annotations).This way, it is now possible to install all functionalities via
pip install .without requiring the-eoption.As pointed out in this issue,
pip install .previously lead to only themembrain_segpackage being installed.
