[Bug] OpenAI Agents - trace spans sometimes fail to complete

When running the samples and viewing the traces in the OpenAI Platform Dashboard, some spans fail to close.

Describe the bug

Minimal Reproduction

Run the research workflow:

uv run openai_agents/run_research_workflow.py

Then review traces.

Environment/Versions

M4 Mac, Python 3.13

Turns out that this is UI behavior in OpenAI. The load more button at the bottom will pull in additional events, including the closes on these 'ongoing' spans.
