Hello i ve an error during my terraform validate job

Hello @kingZ97 , the issue you are facing is most likely because you are using aws provider v6, which the module is currently on its way to support that.

Can you try to downgrade to v5 ?

@kingZ97, you should be using more strict version pinning on your providers. >= leaves you open to many issues, including this. You need to specify a value that restricts it to a version below 6.

I've pinned the version of that uses this module as a source to "~>5.0"`. Running terraform providers shows no references to version 6.0.0. Still getting this error when I run terraform plan. Consider me a noob.

You could try the terraform providers command and check the versions of the output. You also need to make sure you re-initialize it with the updated version. Terraform structures can vary in complexity and telling us "I tried and it didn't work" doesnt give us anything more to go on. Make sure you are following proper troubleshooting procedures, know how it works, and are providing detailed responses so we can better assist you.
