Cloth vanishes after a while

The simple cloth falling on a sphere...the falling itself looks unnatural...but what is worse..the cloth vanishes after w while:

Hey again, The self collision model needs reworking. I've already built and tested two other models. Still looking for the perfect solution. I do have couple of new approaches in mind. It will take time to build and test.
