RNA velocity results change between scvelo versions 0.2.4 and 0.3.1

Hi,
previously, I was using scvelo version 0.2.4 for the RNA velocity analysis of my single cell data. Now I also wanted to implement cellrank and therefore had to update scvelo to versoin 0.3.1. With this version of scvelo, I get different results:

Can I still trust my results that I got with the version 0.2.4 analysis? How can these changes be explained?
