Need an autocomplete list for a field called "Name"

I have used this typeahead many times and it works very well. However I am now trying to use it to get an autocomplete list for a field called "Name" and this time it's not working. Could the fact that you use Autocomplete.Name, and I am trying to get a list for a field called "Name," present an issue? If so, is there anything you can suggest as a workaround for this?
