I'm sometime bothered by Oneshot Shift key, for example I intent browser tab close(Ctrl-W) but with unintentional tap of the key get window close(Shift-Ctrl-W) instead.

Origianly Oneshot mod is intended a solution to 'THe' problem, though, I don't use this much and could not get used to keysequence: tap Shift, 't', 'h', 'e'.

Wait... I don't use this with intent but I use this unintentionally when I fail to hold Shift? Like If you release Shift accidentally before press 't' you'll get Oneshot function and see 'T' as a result. Maybe it is true. I think I don't get 'THe' recently. Or my improvement of typing?

IDEA

  • Timeout of Oneshot modifier(like 2-3sec? or very very shot)

I confirmed Oneshot mod has solved my 'the' problem. Without oneshot mod I often get 'the' instead of 'The', It seems I tend to release Shift key before pressing 't'. I have got used to type like that unconsciously.

I decided keep this function and add new timeout option.
