Just spent some time trying to figure this out, only to find there's already a PR about it from last year. Any way we could get this merged @tmknom? It seems that the module is presently broken without it. |

Update: I've switched to this module on the Terraform registry, which is maintained and has far more options. |

As mentioned -- the S3 region variable is now read-only, so removed its use
