What would happen if someone imported tokio with only the io-util feature enabled? It looks like nothing would be enabling the optional libc in that case
@paolobarbolini Nice spotted. The ci failure is due to exactly the problem you mentioned. |

We have a general policy of biasing towards fewer dependencies. Therefore, I think it makes sense to just use the libc implementation of
memchr
rather than pulling in an entire crate just for the implementation ofAsyncRead::read_until
.I added a simple wrapper around the libc memchr function and a few tests to sanity check the wrapper.
