Paramiko supports the ssh keepalive mechanism. This patch exposes the mechanism to the ParamikoMachine. I'm not sure if this is the ideal way to implement it (any suggestions welcome), but I wrote this because I need to enable keepalive and can't reliably set it server side for every server I talk to.
