Trailing slashes are not allowed in the new buildroot infra
Required by upstream pkg-generic.mk
Backport of 8a58e0238
Copied and replaced $(HOST_DIR)/bin with $(HOST_DIR)/usr/bin
Needed for support/scripts/pkg-stats
Now $(HOST_DIR)/bin and $(HOST_DIR)/usr/bin are the same thing One less difference to take care of when backporting

This ports all the support scripts,
pkg-generic, and renames the remaining_OPTvariables.The new
pkg-generichandles host packages differently, resulting in faster builds.Handy scripts like
./support/scripts/pkg-stats --html /tmp/pkg.htmlnow also work.
