Reproduction Steps

1. login to https://connect.topcoder-dev.com/ using pshah_manager/topcoder123
2. go to https://connect.topcoder-dev.com/projects/800/discussions
3. create a new discussion named "I am a topic"
4. then reply it with "ok" (with bold text and "</>" chosen), post it, observe

Expected Result

should get text "ok" after posting.

Actual Result

See screenshot, it has 4 asterisks.

Not a bug. The selection of code should strip away visual enhancements as it is displaying the text asp reformatted. The bug actually is in the text preview, not the post.
