Describe the feature request

As a user I want to provide my database credentials via kubernetes secrets.

Acceptance Criteria

  • database credentials can be provided as kubernetes secret
    • there is no mixed mode -> all database credentials are provided in plaintext or as a secret
  • the current plaintext mode is still supported for backwards compatibility and for an easy quickstart
  • new options are documented
