Glyphs is understandable, but dylexia? i do really like the current font cuz i can nicely read it (im dyslexic btw) well ill look into alternative fonts |
Apologies! I take back the dyslexia part if it is working for you. |
This is actually the hardest part most fonts that support glyphs are ones that make it harder for other users with other disabilities also it should fallback to different fonts if certain glyphs get used already. |
I also feel I should mention the font sizes on many of the elements are far too small and sometimes hard to discern, especially for people with poor vision, it might not be inherently related but still something worth mentioning |
Yet again something already available in client settings cause if you even just up it by one pixel it already gets out of control |
If you change the setting client side it makes the text far too big and makes the whole interface look like a cheap fisherprice toy with big oversized buttons and elements, the font size shouldn't be that small to begin with |
You see all that client setting does is: increase the font size by one |
What if we used Lexend Deca |
Lexend and Lexend Deca is the same font "It has been decided for the update of July 2021 to align the Regular weight with the one of Lexend Deca which is slightly bolder. Lexend and Lexend Deca are therefore the same (for now…)" |
the issue is we should pick a font that perferebly has support for multiple languages Lexend is missing languages such as russian |
Oh. |
This might be worth a look: Atkinson Hyperlegible Pro Multiple languages but no Russian. Supports: Afrikaans Albanian Asturian Asu Basque Bemba Bena Breton Catalan Chiga Colognian Cornish Croatian Czech Danish Dutch Embu English Esperanto Estonian Faroese Filipino Finnish French Friulian Galician Ganda German Gusii Hungarian Icelandic Inari Sami Indonesian Irish Italian Jola-Fonyi Kabuverdianu Kalenjin Kamba Kikuyu Kinyarwanda Koyraboro Senni Koyra Chiini Lakota Latvian Lithuanian Lower Sorbian Luo Luxembourgish Luyia Machame Makhuwa-Meetto Makonde Malagasy Maltese Manx Meru Morisyen Northern Sami North Ndebele Norwegian Bokmål Norwegian Nynorsk Nyankole Oromo Polish Portuguese Quechua Romanian Romansh Rombo Rundi Rwa Samburu Sango Sangu Scottish Gaelic Sena Serbian Shambala Shona Slovak Soga Somali Spanish Swahili Swedish Swiss German Taita Tasawaq Teso Turkish Upper Sorbian Uzbek (Latin) Vietnamese Volapük Vunjo Walser Welsh Western Frisian Yoruba Zarma Zulu. Or: Inter Supports 147 Languages. https://rsms.me/inter/#languages |
We have looked at this font already due to FF but decided against using it
This is one we didn't take a look at yet |

Summary
The current font, while fun and intriguing, has the international users unable to use their own glyphs. The font should be changed to be more accessible and international.
