Mods

Mods are allowed on IGDB as long as they follow our guidelines. We do not allow mods that only change graphics or the UI. For a mod to be listed on IGDB, it must be one that alters gameplay significantly. Being listed on modDB or NexusMods is not a sufficient reason to be included in the database.

When submitting a mod, make sure it’s one that has seen a full release. We do not allow mods that aren’t complete. Except for marking the game as a “mod” under type and that way linking it to the official game, please do not add the series/franchise to your contribution. Also, do not add links that go to illegal download sources as we do not allow these types of links on IGDB.

Linking to big, reliable sources such as Moddb is OK.

• AM2R: Return of Samus
• Pokémon Gaia Version
• The Yoshi Garden
• Mario & Luigi: Kola Kingdom Quest

Example of a mod that is not allowed:

• Blood Moon: Manhunt
• Webbed Suit (Classic) - Movie Accuracy
• Upscaled 4k Textures
