Among the pages linked on chrome://about, these ones with the URL scheme chrome have at the top of the left panel the Chromium logo shown instead of Cromite: bookmarks, downloads, extensions, history, management, policy, settings, version.

Good pick! In the menu bar as well Chromium logo is shown instead of Cromite for pages with the chrome URL scheme.

Since having to deal with settings, at chrome://settings/help that you mentioned, there is an opportunity for improvement.

A redirection applies from https://www.cromite.org/ to https://github.com/uazo/cromite.

<a target="_blank" href="https://www.cromite.org/">Cromite</a>

On Cromite where redirection is disabled in the settings, this second page will therefore not be accessible. The address should therefore be replaced accordingly in the code.

Closed, and even as completed, though the committed a2bc4dd at best fixed partially the issues and even causes a new incoherent behavior.

Unfixed

Screenshot 2024-05-10 115503

Incoherent behaviour

Steps to reproduce; while there is no chrome://settings/help page open

  1. Open chrome://settings/help
  2. Open another chrome://settings/help

Observations; focus: right side of the menu panel:

  1. Cromite logo displayed
  2. Chromium logo displayed

Forgotten again - you won't be the last; nothing good ever comes from a hasty closure, especially when the accompanying notice is completed. Yet there was no indication here that there was any need to rush.

Better to laugh about it.

no one is in a hurry here and the problem you point out is not an oversight, it simply does not appear to me.
it simply makes me laugh that we focus on these things, as they are absolutely unimportant to me.
